Announcing the birth of Joseph Kilen
Our baby boy, Joseph Kilen Houser, was born August 9th, 2009 at 11:32PM. He weighed 7lbs and 10oz and was 20 inches long. Giving birth was truly an embodied experience! I will post his birth story once it all integrates inside of me and I get the opportunity to write it out.

ohh Joseph is so little! well, was anyway, compared to now. i really enjoyes your posts here and hope you;ll keep writing. i was sorry to miss hearing your birth story as i’d bet it would be told with some prime poetry. i hope i get a chance to read it or hear it from you some time. xx melle
Thanks, Melle! It is a fun creative outlet for me. I’ve got the theme for the birth story, now I need to just sit down and write it. Hope to see you and Joseph’s little birth day twin soon.
